Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the LeafLock platform, documentation, and associated services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
Section titled “1. Eligibility”You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts in your jurisdiction to use the Services. Organisational users confirm that their representatives have authority to bind the organisation.
2. Accounts and Security
Section titled “2. Accounts and Security”You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and ensuring that account
information remains accurate. Notify LeafLock immediately at security@leaflock.app if
you suspect unauthorised access or disclosure.
3. Acceptable Use
Section titled “3. Acceptable Use”You agree not to:
- Breach any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt service availability.
- Upload malicious code or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with LeafLock or other parties.
4. Content Ownership
Section titled “4. Content Ownership”LeafLock retains all intellectual property rights in the Services. You retain ownership of content you upload while granting LeafLock a licence to host, reproduce, and process that content solely to provide the Services.
5. Feedback
Section titled “5. Feedback”Feedback and suggestions you provide may be used by LeafLock without obligation to you,
consistent with the docs/license.md.
6. Suspension and Termination
Section titled “6. Suspension and Termination”LeafLock may suspend or terminate access to the Services for breach of these Terms or to protect the security and integrity of the platform.
7. Third-Party Services
Section titled “7. Third-Party Services”The Services may integrate third-party APIs or plugins. Those services are governed by third-party terms, and LeafLock is not responsible for their content or security.
8. Disclaimers
Section titled “8. Disclaimers”The Services are provided “as is” without warranties. LeafLock disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent allowed by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
Section titled “9. Limitation of Liability”LeafLock is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Total liability for direct damages will not exceed the greater of EUR 100 or the amount you paid for the Services in the prior 12 months.
10. Governing Law
Section titled “10. Governing Law”These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be settled in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
11. Changes to Terms
Section titled “11. Changes to Terms”We may modify these Terms and will post updates here. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
